Once I had all the yellow cedar terminals carved for the feather pieces I then had to plane and cut the red cedar spars. Everything was then tied together to form the final feathers.

David Bynoe is a multidisciplinary kinetic sculptor working in Calgary, Alberta.
David graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Jewelery and Metals. Between 2008 and 2009 he worked as a Studio Workstudy at the Banff Centre for the Arts, assisting artists and facilitators in the wood, metal and ceramics shops. He is currently employed as a Graphic Designer and Photographer with Avison Young Real Estate.
